PROBLEMS
Fergus app was built on an old tech (Cordova) 9 years ago that has now become a problem to maintain.
Fergus app was built on SME’s opinions and customers requests that eventually became a feature factory. It did not provide real value to the customers resulting highly under-utilized.
Built to emulate Fergus web app which resulted in a complicated UI and a poor user experience for tradies on the go
GOALS
New mobile app that enables Tradies to be efficient on-the-go.
Re-platform the app to React Native to reduce the maintenance cost.
Gradually build the app and add real values for the customers by conducting user research.
MY ROLE
